Aromatic plant, related to salvias and lavenders. It is a small shrub with a woody base, with herbaceous stems up to 50 cm. long originating in the Mediterranean regions that grows in meadows and pastures in mountain areas of the Pyrenees and the Iberian system. It has an erect stem, little branched, linear leaves and blue flowers grouped in a spiky inflorescence.
It treats conjunctivitis. Improves bleeding gums and conjunctivitis. Reduces skin wrinkles. Disinfects and cleans minor burns and wounds. Treatment of varicose veins. Useful for respiratory problems.
